Xmind gives you a way to see how your ideas connect before you turn them into a plan. You can start with a thought, or have AI build a structured mind map from text, a link, or a document. When you need more detail, you can expand a topic into related ideas or break a goal into tasks.

You can switch between a visual map and a text outline as you work. Group related topics into separate areas and collapse details so you can concentrate on one part of a larger map. When your ideas become a project, you can assign owners, set deadlines, connect dependent tasks, and adjust the schedule in a Gantt chart.

You can also edit with teammates in real time and turn your map into slides for a presentation. To share the result outside Xmind, export the whole map—or just one area—as an image or PDF.
