What you get
Watch your videos on your Mac or TV, with playback you can adjust.
You can open videos and music in over 70 formats, including MKV, MOV, FLV, and FLAC, without installing extra codecs or switching between players. Watch local or online videos on your Mac, or send local files to Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, and compatible smart TVs.
When a video looks or sounds wrong, you can adjust contrast, color, sharpness, and noise during playback. Correct audio delay when speech doesn't match the picture, adjust sound with a 10-band equalizer, and load subtitle files to follow the dialogue.
You can also spend less time finding your place: bookmark moments to revisit, loop a section, or change playback speed. If you're working while watching, keep the video visible in picture-in-picture or above other windows rather than switching back to the player.
