What you get
You can watch mixed-format videos and revisit scenes without switching players.
You can use Fig Player to watch movies and listen to music across a wide range of file formats, including MKV, MP4, AVI, FLAC, and MP3. You also get 4K playback and a choice of audio output when you have multiple sound devices connected.
When you want to examine a scene, you can repeat a selected section or move through it frame by frame. Picture-in-picture lets you keep a video visible while you do something else, and separate windows let you play multiple videos at once. You can load subtitles in several formats or generate them with AI.
Basic use is free. With VIP access, you can cast to compatible DLNA, Chromecast, or Roku devices, record video clips, and recognize text for copying on macOS 12 or later.
