With your devices on the same Wi-Fi network, you choose a destination from your menu bar and start streaming. Files that play on your Mac can play on your TV, with support for HD and 4K.
You can also show your Mac’s display and audio to everyone in the room. Walk through a presentation, demonstrate an app, or share a video playlist. Showing your pointer and highlighting clicks helps viewers follow what you’re doing. If you have several displays connected, you can choose which one to mirror.
For video viewing, you can include subtitles and adjust quality and scaling. When casting to Chromecast, you can also change subtitle fonts, colors, and encoding.
