What you get

Show your Mac’s screen or camera on your TV or mobile device.

With Mirror My Screen, you can put your Mac’s desktop or built-in camera feed on a Smart TV, Chromecast, or mobile screen without connecting a display cable. You choose the video source and start mirroring with a click, so others can view what’s on your Mac without gathering around it.

To watch on an iPhone or iPad, you scan a QR code with the Camera app. Your Mac and receiving device must be on the same local network, whether connected through Wi-Fi or Ethernet. You can also select an audio source, but streaming audio requires a virtual audio device and may need an additional free driver.

You should expect a delay of a few seconds, so this isn’t suitable for gaming. DRM-protected video, including content from services such as Netflix, may not stream properly.
