Looq
A better Quick Look
Looq extends Quick Look on macOS so you can inspect code, Markdown, databases, and archives in Finder. It suits you if you regularly check technical files.
by PARCSE, LLC
What you get
You can inspect more file types without leaving Finder.
With Looq, you can select a file in Finder and press Space to see content that standard Quick Look may not show. You can read highlighted code in more than 200 languages, compare changes in diff files side by side, and view Markdown with formatted math, diagrams, tables, and footnotes. Your Markdown preview can also refresh as you edit.
You can check large SQLite databases and TSV tables a page at a time, sort columns, and inspect column types without launching a separate database tool. For ZIP and TAR archives, you can browse the contents without extracting them. You can also look through folders in the same Quick Look panel.
Before installing something, you can inspect details inside app bundles, IPAs, installer packages, and configuration profiles. If conflicting extensions disrupt Quick Look, you can identify the responsible app and apply a repair.

Skip it if
You probably don't need Looq if standard Quick Look already previews all the file types you use.
