Microsoft Word
Microsoft Word gives you a place to write, format, and review documents on your Mac, whether you’re a student, writer, or someone preparing documentation with a team.
by Microsoft Corporation
What you get
You can turn drafts into formatted documents and revise them with others.
With Word, you can take a document from an early draft to a formatted report, article, or newsletter. You can start from a template rather than a blank page, then adjust the formatting and layout to suit your work. As you write, Microsoft Editor gives you feedback on spelling, grammar, clarity, conciseness, and tone.
When you need input, you can invite others to edit the same document in real time, control their permissions, and see who’s working alongside you. You can leave comments and assign tasks so your group knows what needs attention. You can also edit documents attached to emails.
You can automatically save your work to OneDrive or another cloud provider, making it available across your devices when you have internet access. To use this app, you need a qualifying Microsoft 365 subscription.
