What you get

Adjust your display brightness from the menu bar or your keyboard.

MonitorControl Lite gives you a nearby way to change your display’s brightness while you work. You can adjust it from the macOS menu bar, keeping the control within reach when your screen feels too bright or too dim. Brightness changes happen gradually rather than jumping abruptly between levels.

If you prefer using the keyboard, you can assign your own shortcuts for brightness adjustments. That gives you a way to make changes without reaching for the menu each time. You can also customize the menu-bar control’s appearance to suit your preferences, with a design that fits the look of newer macOS controls. The result is a small, unobtrusive brightness control rather than another prominent interface on your screen.
