What you get
Choose your Paramount+ playback quality and see what resolution you’re watching.
With Paramount Quality+, you can choose from the resolutions available for your current Paramount+ stream instead of relying only on automatic quality selection. You can select a specific resolution, request the highest available quality, or leave playback on Auto. Your preferences stay stored locally on your Mac.
You can also check the current playback resolution and bitrate in Safari’s toolbar popup. For native HLS playback, the bitrate is estimated from the stream’s manifest, so it doesn’t tell you your actual network throughput. To get started, you enable the extension in Safari, allow access to paramountplus.com, and reload your playback page.
Your available choices still depend on the title, subscription, region, device, DRM, and Safari support. You won’t get access to unavailable resolutions or restricted content, and you still need Paramount+ access. You can use every extension feature for free without creating an app-specific account.
