What you get
You can understand foreign-language content and improve your own writing.
You can translate selected text without copying it into a separate window, or capture part of your screen to understand text you can’t select. Youdao Translate covers text translation across 109 languages and lets you look up unfamiliar words while you read. You can also extract and translate text from images or read translated webpages with their layout preserved.
For longer material, you can translate whole documents, compare the original and translation side by side, and keep the document’s formatting. You can ask questions about the content, get summaries, add annotations, and export the result. Specialist terminology libraries and your own uploaded terms help you handle technical material.
You can also turn Chinese and English audio into transcripts and translations, or export translated video subtitles as SRT files. When you’re writing, you can revise selected passages, correct grammar and spelling, adjust their style, and generate drafts of emails or notices.
