With OneNote, you can keep your ideas and their supporting material on the same page. Type wherever you want, add a sketch, or place photos and files beside your notes. You can save a whiteboard photo alongside meeting notes, then mark questions, important points, and to-dos so you know what needs attention.

You can separate subjects into notebooks, sections, and pages rather than keep everything in one long document. Color coding helps distinguish projects, while search and pinned pages help you return to information you use often. Password protection gives you a way to restrict access to private notes.

When you need input from someone else, you can share a notebook and edit it together in real time. Cloud syncing lets you access your notes across devices, so you can pick up the same material at home, at work, or on the go.
